white ink done at Horns and Halos in Sherman Oaks, CA
I got this on 4-19-12 at 7 Sevens in Grants Pass, OR. It’s a one man shop owned by Jeremy Elledge. He rocks! This symbol is called a hamsa. In the Middle East and Jewish homes, it is common to see it hanging on walls or as a pendant on a necklace. It’s used for protection from evil and is said to bring the bearer of the symbol good luck and strength. The bits on either side of it are just for decoration. This is my fourth tattoo so far. Apologies for the photo, it’s still fresh and is peeling a bit!
I seem to have acquired what is commonly known as “a massive amount of tea.”
And considering that I’m moving home soon, I sort of want to consolidate things I don’t drink as much. So it’s giveaway time!
The winners will receive samples which at this moment are looking like:
- Earl Grey (Teavana)
- Lichee Black (Choicest Tea)
- Pear Luna (Teavana)
- Green Maté (David’s Tea)
- Orange Blossom Oolong (The Tea Store Ottowa)
- White Orange Spice (Numi)
- and an additional 3 of their choosing from my cupboard (approx 50 teas)
Rules
- This giveaway will be open until Monday, April 30.
- I will select five winners.
- You may enter up to three times. Additional entries will not be counted.
- An entry counts as a reblog of this post.
- You must be following me. I’ll check.
- If you’re the winner and I contact you, you have until Wednesday, May 1 to respond. Otherwise I will pick another winner (I want to get these out before finals start)
Misc
- I ship anywhere in the world. I pay for shipping.
- Teas offered are subject to change at my discretion.
- I will use a random number generator to select the winner.
- No giveaway blogs, please. I want real people to win these. If you’re a blog that just reblogs giveaway posts, you will be disqualified.
- My ask box is always open for questions!
Good luck to all, and happy sipping!

This tattoo is followed around the idea of “The red string of fate”. In variations of the stories you’re supposed to be connected to everyone or your soul mate with an invisible red string that is never supposed to broken. The way I look at mine is, this one is clearly broken, which represents me being done with women. Totally tired of being hurt by the opposite sex. It’s a very beautiful image, credits to the original artist. But props to my tattoo artist, Jim, from Saints and Sinners in Baltimore, Maryland.
